An average of five children sleep in the emergency shelter each night. Families with children are given priority for placement and moved to the Family Transitional Program as quickly as posible. Every child is placed in the appropriate school and assisted with their homework nightly. The ultimate goal is to get families on their feet and children in a secure environment where they can learn and grow.
